Americana — Only in America.

We stepped foot on historic Route 66 while in Petrified Forest National Park -- the only National Park with a piece of "the Mother Road" within its boundaries.

A stop at the Acadia National Park Visitor Center with the Limited Edition National Parks Pendleton Airstream. We think the tree etchings on the Airstream were inspired by Maine -- very fitting!

And while on Route 66, a stop for some Pepsi-cola and vintage-inspired Fujifilm Instax photos. :)

Only in Key West.

In the spirit of a great road trip, we made a stop at America's deep south's favorite diner tradition: Waffle House, en route to Congaree National Park in South Carolina.

The famous Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas... where the prohibition-era gangsters came to roost -- and get busted (read the sign).
